1. Service Provider Identification This website and the services offered herein are operated by MTS - Multilingual Training Solutions (hereinafter "MTS"), with principal operations based in Cali, Colombia.
2. Scope of Service MTS provides an e-learning platform allowing users ("Students") to purchase "Hour Packages" for language learning. These packages are redeemable for:
1-on-1 personalized classes with global teachers.
Access to group Conversation Clubs.
International exam preparation services.
Telephone classes and translation services.
3. Purchase and Validity of Packages 3.1. Services are provided on a prepaid basis through the purchase of hour packages. 3.2. Each package has a specific validity period indicated at the time of purchase (e.g., 2, 6, or 12 months). Once this period expires, unused hours are non-refundable and non-cumulative, except in proven cases of force majeure.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation Policy 4.1. Scheduling: Classes must be scheduled through the platform at least 24 hours in advance, subject to teacher availability. 4.2. Cancellation by Student: Classes may be canceled or rescheduled without penalty up to 12 hours before the start time. Cancellations made within less than 12 hours will result in the deduction of the corresponding hours from the Student's package. 4.3. Cancellation by Teacher: If a teacher cancels a class, MTS will offer a substitute teacher or credit the hour back to the Student's balance at no cost.
5. Conversation Clubs Conversation Clubs require a minimum quorum of two (2) participants. MTS reserves the right to cancel the session if this minimum is not met up to 2 hours before the start time, notifying the Student and refunding the corresponding time or credit.
6. Technical Requirements To properly utilize the service, the Student must have:
Stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps).
Device with a functional webcam and microphone.
Updated web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari). MTS is not liable for service disruptions caused by technical issues with the Student's equipment or connection.
7. Right of Withdrawal In accordance with Colombian law, the Student has the right to withdraw from the purchase within five (5) business days following the acquisition of the package, provided that the service has not yet commenced (no hours have been consumed).
8. Intellectual Property All educational material, software, trademarks, and content provided by MTS are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without express authorization is prohibited.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute shall be resolved before the courts of Cali, or through conciliation mechanisms provided by law.
